Job Title: Engine Stripper.(all mechanical experience considered)
Location: Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire
Duration: contract - 3 months + (possible temp to perm option)
Pay Rate: DOE
Shifts: days Monday to Thursday - 7am to 5pm Friday - 7am to 1pm
Hours per week: 44
Job overview.
The strip down and rebuild of mechanical components for the rolling stock industry.
Key Responsibilities.
- Be able to strip and replace all the mechanical components to engine as per instruction.
- Collect new parts and distribute to the right engines/machinery.
- Jet wash engines after final checks before they leave site.
- Ensure that waste is disposed of in the correct manner.
Background & Experience:
- Someone with an understanding of basic mechanical components.
Qualifications/Education required:
- Previous mechanical experience.
Qualifications:
Relevant engineering qualifications ideal but not a necessity for an experienced person.
