Graduate Teaching Assistant - Teacher Training
Engage Education are currently supporting an expanding secondary school in Greenwich who are looking to appoint a number of Graduate Teaching Assistants to start in September.
The school runs a prestigious Teacher Training Programme and you will initially work for the first year as a Teaching Assistant spending 70% of your timetable attached to your subject area. In year 2, you will commence your salaried Teacher Training Programme based on site at the school which offers a postgraduate-level qualification leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), no tuition fees, and the opportunity to earn while you learn.
Degree requirements:
- You must hold a 2:2 or above in a degree in either Maths, English, Science, History or Geography

To be considered for enrolment, applicants must have:
- Undergraduate Honours degree in Maths, English, Science, History or Geography
- GCSE Level 4 (Grade C) in English, Maths (for Secondary trainees) plus Science (for Primary Trainees)
- Must have a desire and passion for becoming a teacher and working in secondary education on a long-term basis.
