Job Description: We are looking for a talented Sheet Metal Fabricator with expertise in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to join our client's on-site team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing various metal structures and components according to specifications and blueprints. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail, ensuring all projects meet our stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings.
- Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets.
- Operate various hand tools and machinery to cut, bend, and shape metal.
- Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols on-site.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Valid IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) certification.
- Valid PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association) certification.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
