IPS Finance has partnered with an entrepreneurial group of companies to recruit a finance manager to support the financial director. The businesses vary across several industries including leisure, property businesses and professional services. This is a hybrid working role with 3 days wfh.
This is a fast-paced role with the potential to influence change. Commercial savviness and the ability to business partner with stakeholders is key along with the ability to multi-task and often get involved in multiple projects.
Duties include:
- Oversee the team's production of all company accounts and meeting reporting deadlines
- Support the team in finalising year end accounts and tax computations to enable us to keep more of these services in house
- Manage cash flows
- Support the Finance Director in liaising with external 3rd party advisers where relevant and maintaining banking relationships
- Suggest and implement updates and improvements for accounting systems and processes
- Work with the Finance Director to develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and trends
- Review actual versus plan regularly to identify opportunities to improve EBITDA
- Carry out due diligence of prospect business ventures
- Overseeing share paperwork and company secretarial for new business set ups
- Managing a team of 5 accounts assistants
