Production Manufactoring / Warehouse Operative

Our Client in Southend on Sea are an established family business of wholesale merchants supplying high-end textiles and trims to leading bespoke and couture clothing trades., they are looking for a candidate to join there team this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is willing to learn a traditional trade in a modern environment as part of a busy team.
Duties:
- Picking stock for orders
- Measuring and cutting of fabrics (training will be provided)
- Packing orders
- Keeping warehouse tidy
- Stock checks
- Use of in-house IT system (training will be provided)
Person Specification:
- Must have production manufacturing experience.
- Someone from a textile background would be desirable but not eessential
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work on their own and as part of a team
- The role will include heavy lifting and the majority of the day they will be on their feet
- Computer literacy essential
Benefits:
- Hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm with a 45 minute lunch break
- 20 days holiday a year (plus bank holidays) with a maximum of 5 days used for our Christmas closure
