Position Overview:

As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of HR within the institution. This role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, staff development, compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture. You will work closely with department heads and senior management to ensure that the needs of the organisation and its employees are met in alignment with the school's values and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & On boarding:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and selection.

  • Ensure a smooth on boarding process for new employees.

  • Develop strategies to attract top talent and improve employee retention.

  • Employee Relations:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all HR-related inquiries and issues.

  • Provide guidance to management and staff on HR policies and procedures.

  • Mediate and resolve employee disputes and ensure positive employee relations.

  • Performance Management:

  • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems.

  • Support leadership in developing staff through training programs and professional development opportunities.

  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees on career development.

  • Policy & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and education regulations.

  • Review and update HR policies and procedures regularly to meet legislative requirements.

  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in accordance with data protection regulations.

  • Staff Well being & Engagement:

  • Develop and promote initiatives to enhance employee well being and work-life balance.

  • Organise staff engagement programs to maintain a positive workplace culture.

  • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

  • HR Strategy & Administration:

  • Work closely with senior management to align HR strategies with organisational goals.

  • Manage the HR budget and related administrative tasks.

  • Oversee payroll processing in collaboration with the finance team.
