MILK Education are currently working with a Secondary School within the Chester area who are seeking to appoint a Secondary School Teacher to work on a supply basis. The role is to start from October 2024.

We are looking for candidates who have previous experience working as a Secondary School Teacher for a minimum of 1 month and have a good educational background. Due to the nature of these roles it is essential that you are flexible and willing to travel throughout the Swansea area.

Secondary Teacher Role & Responsibilities:

  • Implement engaging and effective lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum standards.
  • Evaluate student progress through various assessments and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment by managing behaviour, promoting respect, and ensuring the safety of all students.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Secondary Teacher Non-negotiables:

  • Must have PGCE/QTS/QTLS
  • Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Must have enhanced DBS or willing to purchase one
