Sales Coordinator

I am currently working with an innovative and market-leading client who are seeking a Sales Coordinator to manage and develop customer accounts, support sales performance, and increase commercial knowledge. The ideal candidate will be adept at planning, managing accounts, and working collaboratively with various teams to drive sales growth.

Benefits:

  • Salary – Competitive initial basic salary of £26,500, rising to £28,500 after 12 months and then to £30,500 after 24 months. This is in addition to an annual profit bonus, percentage TBC.
  • Working Hours - Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm, Friday 8:30am to 4pm. No weekends.

Day-to-day of the Role:

  • Plan and manage House accounts and other designated customers in line with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues to understand and deliver budget sales and margin.
  • Identify new opportunities for customers and work with the wider team and suppliers to deliver solutions.
  • Receive and process customer orders, ensuring high levels of customer service and accurate record-keeping.
  • Plan and liaise with transport companies and warehouses for deliveries and associated documentation.
  • Work with Finance on account setup, limits, and credit checks.
  • Control and measure stock movement with timely and accurate record-keeping.
  • Support the management and control of the vessel fleet.
  • Comply with company Quality, Environmental, and OH&S policies and standards (ISO 9,14 and 45).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong planning and account management skills.
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities and collaborate with teams and suppliers.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in managing documentation and record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9,14 and 45 standards is advantageous.
