Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Provide support to students in both individual and group settings, promoting inclusive learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support student development.
- Participate in school events and contribute to the wider school community.
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in education or child development (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
- Experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to promoting inclusive education and supporting students with diverse needs.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
