Head of Delivery - Empire Fighting Chance

Bristol-based with some hybrid working

Competitive salary + benefits + onsite parking

Empire Fighting Chance is a well-established charity, based in Easton, Bristol. They combine non-contact boxing with intensive personal support to challenge and inspire young people to realise their unique potential. With outstanding results in Bristol, this has inspired other local authorities to invite them to replicate the work they do in deprived neighbourhoods, and they have now established themselves across other regions throughout the UK. They are also part of a global network, working with partners worldwide to reduce urban violence.

They support around 3,500 young people each year and their model has allowed them to identify exceptional organisations further afield, training and supporting them to deliver their work across the UK. In 2022 Empire officially partnered with England Boxing to amplify their impact through amateur boxing clubs. So now they recruit, train and support boxing clubs to deliver Empire programmes in their communities. These clubs have in turn supported 11,000 young people and raised in excess of £1.5 million resulting in sustainable transformation.

They are now seeking to hire a new role of Head of Delivery - a role which is central to the future growth and development of Empire Fighting Chance. The role will be focused on achieving their strategic goal of establishing a global centre of excellence in Bristol, where their work with young people is operating at its full potential and to optimal capacity.
