Minibus Driver

Posted by Hoe Bridge School.

Job title: Minibus Driver
Part time, Permanent
£13.00 - £13.50 per hour
Location: Surrey

Hoe Bridge is thriving independent school for girls and boys aged 2 to 16. Having recently opened a new senior school, we're looking for a reliable Minibus Driver to transport pupils to the school on a part-time basis. You'll join us at exciting point in our history as we expand and grow. With you as part of our team, supporting staff and pupils, we can look to the future and excel.

As Hoe Bridge School develops, we are adding more bus routes in the local area from September 2024. Your task as a Minibus Driver will be to transport pupils to and from school safely and professionally as part of our Transport team.
Before any trip, you'll perform a visual check of the vehicle, including tyres, fuel, oil and fluid levels. You'll then collect or drop off your passengers, paying due care and attention.

As you will be responsible for the pupils while they're on your bus, you will be expected to pass a Minibus Driving Assessment Test before you start. You'll also need a clean driving licence with a D1 entitlement, plus knowledge of the local area.

An ambassador for the school, you'll be organised, polite and ready to liaise with parents, teachers and staff. It's important that you're as good with people as you are behind the wheel.

To make the grade, you need to be trustworthy and honest, with experience in a similar role. If you're organised, confident and calm, with a good sense of humour, we'd like to hear from you.

Join us, and you'll be part of a dynamic school community whose vision is to encourage every pupil to achieve their true potential through a broad, challenging and diverse curriculum. Apply now and become part of our dedicated team.

This is a part-time role working the hours of 6.45am to 8.45am and 4.15pm to 6.15pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

Hoe Bridge School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any person offered a position will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure.

Closing date for applications: 9am, Friday 30 August 2024
