Senior Mobile Developer

Crimson Tide have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Mobile Developer to join our team based in Tunbridge Wells. You will join us on a full-time (Monday-Friday), permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office weekly.

Responsibilities:

This is a varied role that will depend on the requirements and activities of the team but will broadly encompass the below responsibilities.

  • Completing assigned tasks in a Sprint to a consistent and high technical quality
  • Mentor and assist others with tasks and planning tasks as required by the wider Scrum team
  • Take a lead contributor role with the mpro5 Mobile applications and a leading contributor role on the customer Web Client front-end
  • Lead and contribute to writing specification documentation as applicable
  • Follow and lead driving the improvement of agreed, developing, standards of work and documentation
  • Managing own tasks within the scope of a Sprint and effectively communicating blockers
  • Following agreed standards of working with Version Control (Git) and Pull Requests in our Version Control System (Azure DevOps)
  • Effectively communicating issues, blockers, opportunities and progress to leadership and the rest of Scrum team
  • Following agreed priorities and coordinating with the rest of the Scrum team and the rest of the company to best achieve the wider team's goals
  • Take full part in all Scrum Ceremonies

What makes you our Senior Mobile Developer:

  • Expertise with JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Experience developing Mobile and front-end website applications
  • Expertise with Ionic/Angular
  • Expertise with CSS and CSS pre-processors
  • Knowledge of Web Standards, including Web Components
  • Knowledge of the Web and Mobile Eco-System – emerging standards, libraries and techniques
  • Effective communicator
  • Effective use of Git to manage changes without causing issues for other Scrum Team members or oneself
  • Effective use of Pull Requests to manage work done and communication of iterations and enhancements required
