Internal Communications Partner

A leading multinational is looking for an Internal Communications specialist to join the team. This is 9 month assignment to support an M&A Integration.

This role will support the creation and delivery of a targeted communication approach, plan and supporting materials to enable the successful integration of two global businesses

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging communications plans for a global employee audience in line with project and business objectives
  • Write and edit engaging content for internal channels
  • Bring campaign to life through supporting digital design collateral
  • Create flow of updates and storytelling opportunities through close partnership with workstream leads
  • Ensure the project calendar of global communication milestones is up-to-date
  • Support the change management process through employee-centric communications that support the change journey and be accountable for enabling and delivering comms
  • Enable listening through pulse approach
  • Provide visibility of timelines and deliverables within the Project Team, liaising with internal stakeholders to provide up to date information and requirements
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the integration partner communication team
  • Act as ambassador for and manage and promote the brand identity, including the guidelines and all identity assets
  • Provide design input and support production of key Project communications
  • Provide project /event support as needed
  • Act as eyes and ears of employees - feeding their needs into the project team

Skills and experience required:

  • Track record of working at pace to deliver communication to employees at all levels
  • Communication / Change management / Digital capability
  • Track record of high engagement change communications
  • Ability to look at the larger picture, to represent the employee mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Looks for creative solutions to support communications objectives
  • Ability to question stakeholders to understand their requirements/objectives more clearly
  • Confident to bring challenge and suggest new ideas
  • Strong experience with digital channels, managing website(s), intranet or social media channels
  • Evidence of crafting eloquent, high-quality messages for employees
  • Experience editing content from others to improve quality and engagement
  • Experience in managing and producing design and artwork
  • Experience working in a global environment desirable.
  • Proficient on Canva, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Technical understanding of photography, video and managing shoots
  • Excellent project management skills
