Associate Quantity Surveyor

Salary up to £70,000 + Car Allowance £5000 + Pension + Bonus + 25 Days Holiday
Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading consultancy based near Romsey, Hampshire who is searching for an Associate Quantity Surveyor.
The consultancy works closely with their clients to understand and manage cladding and internal combustibility risk, defects and remedial issues. They are presently overseeing the refurbishment of multiple facades on residential buildings and they work with a wide range of clients from social housing providers, landlords, private consortiums and management companies.
The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will be given the opportunity to take full client ownership and manage cladding upgrades and remedial works to existing buildings. You will be responsible for inviting contractors to tender, placing orders, making payments, monitoring costs and preparing final accounts.
Requirements of the Associate Quantity Surveyor:
- Over 5 years Quantity Surveying experience.
- Strong knowledge of building appropriate Scope of Works documents and Bills of Quantities.
- Experienced in tender and subcontract account processes.
- Organised with sharp financial and cost management skills.
- Astute in invoice and payment collation / management.
- Good understanding of JCT forms of contract.
- MRICS.
