The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to support production processes. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient operations, meeting quality standards, and achieving production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications, ensuring equipment is prepared for optimal performance.
- Quality Control: Monitor the production process and inspect products for quality, ensuring they meet company and industry standards.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Complete production logs, track output, and report any issues to supervisors in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and enhance workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with machine operation and maintenance; ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality to maintain high production standards.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot minor issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
- Experience with specific machinery relevant to the role (e.g., CNC, press, or milling machines).
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing software and tools.
