Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records of sales transactions, ensuring timely invoicing, and facilitating smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities:

  • Process sales invoices accurately and efficiently.

  • Monitor and reconcile sales transactions with customer accounts.

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in sales records.

  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to address customer queries and resolve billing issues.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements.

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date sales ledger records.

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a retail or fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
