I am currently supporting my client, a leading, international Law Firm with the recruitment of a Billing Specialist. This role is a 12 month Fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
Key responsibilties:
- Assist in preparing bills for clients
- Support fee discussions, tenders, and client relationship management
- Build relationships with partners and fee earners
- Collaborate with the Billing & Costs team
- Handle queries and requests from a central inbox
- Liaise with other Finance teams
- Work with various e-billing systems
- Track and address billing issues
- Follow up on billing matters and communicate issues
- Verify and apply client-specific rate accommodations
- Maintain agreed rates
Key requirements:
- Experience in a Costs/Billing environment (legal experience with Elite 3E is a plus)
- Client-focused with adaptable service approach
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Resilient and able to manage competing demands
- Attention to detail and good grammar
- Experience in a diverse team and fostering an inclusive culture
- High professionalism and integrity
