Marketing and Communications Manager

Morgan Hunt is currently working with a financial Membership body in search of a new interim Marketing and Communications Manager for a fixed term contract of 6 months.

The role is a new post reporting straight into the CEO of the organisation.

The organisation is offering an immediate start and a competitive salary of £60,000 p/a plus benefits.

Key responsibilities of the interim Marketing and Communications Manager:

- Create, implement and manage a marketing and communications strategy to raise the profile of the organisation and engage the right stakeholders

- Provide input and updates for organisations reports to the Board and Advisory Group

- Create high quality content for a wide range of channels including but not limited to social media, websites and press.

- Seek and develop opportunities to raise the organisations profile in the relevant press releases

- Work alongside the engagement manager to attract and retain member organisations and communicate relevant information to the members through relevant channels

- Line manage one operations and events executive

Previous experience of the interim Marketing and Communications Manager:

- Experience working in the government, not for profit, education or membership and regulatory organisations

- Ability to create, adapt and execute a communications strategy aimed at members

- Understanding of the financial market would be a benefit

- Previous line management experience is essential

- Previous experience in analysing engagement within the community

- Excellent written and verbal skills and confidence to deliver content on face to face basis

This role is suitable for a confident, collaborative candidate who has previous experience in creating and executing communications strategy.
