Your new company
This Primary School in Liverpool in L4 is looking for 3 different Teaching Assistants to join their team, all working in their Reception class. These will be full-time roles and will go on for the full academic year. You will also have the opportunity to go permanent. These roles will be starting in September.
Your new role
All 3 roles will be working 1:1 with their individual pupil in their classroom to help support them with their tasks, keep them on track. They may need guidance in their behaviour and concentration, supervision, assisting the class teacher.
You will be working Monday-Friday with working hours of 8.30-3.30.
What you'll need to succeed
- To be considered for this Teaching Assistant job, this Primary School is looking for Teaching Assistants who are committed to their role and consistent, as these pupils like a set routine.
- You will hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification/ Childcare Qualification and have reference-able experience of working in a primary school or educational setting in the last 2 years.
- We will also accept candidates who are children residential workers.
- Having a proven record of managing challenging behaviour and supporting children to understand the route of their frustrations is essential,
- Experience of working on a one-to-one basis with pupils
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A flexible, adaptable approach to work
- Someone who is passionate about their role
