Office Manager for a Construction and Design Company in The City.

A London based Construction and Design company is seeking a confident and presentable Office Manager to ensure the smooth running of office facilities and IT systems. The role will involve an office move, previous experience of supporting a move or refurbishment project would be highly advantageous. The company prides itself on its friendly, inclusive and creative environment and would like someone who fits well with the team culture.

Role: Office Manager

Start date: ASAP (will wait 1 month's notice)

Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE

Working Hours: 8:30 – 5:30

Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day WFH

Location: The City

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all sites are appropriately set up with the supporting technology
  • Managing and maintaining company hardware and assets
  • Managing and negotiating IT contracts and leases
  • Leading the office move / refurbishment project including workplace strategy and team engagement
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the current office
  • Managing and renegotiating office supplier contracts
  • Assisting with the company insurance portfolio
  • Organising all company events and socials

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting an office move / refurbishment
  • Comfortable coordinating with third party suppliers
  • First Aid, Fire marshal, Mental Health First AIDER and IOSH accredited would be nice to have
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Confident, articulate and professional
  • Tech savvy
