Biddable Media Manager

As the Biddable Media Manager for this full-service marketing agency, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and optimising digital marketing campaigns to achieve exceptional client results. Your responsibilities will span across various digital channels, including paid social, paid search, and programmatic display.

This role will also extend beyond campaign execution to encompass strategic leadership. You will track campaign performance, recommend optimisations, and generate insightful reports for clients.

Additionally, you will be at the forefront of introducing new digital buying techniques, modern search practices, and measurement-focused bid strategies.

Hybrid working is available - 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Biddable Media Manager:

  • Plan and execute paid search, paid social, and programmatic display campaigns, consistently delivering valuable client results.
  • Architect campaigns aligned with best practices and client objectives.
  • Collaborate with Meta, TikTok, Google and DSP representatives to execute best-in-class campaigns.
  • Track campaign performance, recommend optimisations, and implement them.
  • Generate insight reports for clients, offering strategic feedback and insights from campaign activities and innovations.
  • Pave the way for new digital buying techniques, including modern search practices and measurement-focused bid strategies.
  • Continuously optimise media plans to ensure spending and performance align with clients' monthly schedules and objectives.
  • Attend virtual and in-person meetings, working closely with clients.
  • Define and implement digital maturity roadmaps for clients across short and long-term timelines.
  • Identify and communicate new media opportunities effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist the Digital Director in department-level decisions, implementing processes, and adopting new technologies for enhanced efficiency and performance.
  • Contribute to pitching for new business opportunities and exploring incremental commercial possibilities within existing clients.
  • Manage a Digital Account Executive and support senior employees.
  • Contribute to the recruitment, selection, onboarding and induction and of new team members, ensuring seamless integration into the company culture and processes.
  • Cultivate a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high performance within your team. Encourage and equip direct reports with the necessary skills to excel in their roles, facilitating individual and collective growth.
  • Encourage and upskill your direct reports enabling creativity, collaboration, high performance, and growth.
  • Leverage your experience and expertise to contribute to the collective knowledge pool. Foster cross-team collaboration by sharing insights and best practices with colleagues.
  • Set the standard by adhering to company policies, procedures, and directives. Ensure your team is fully aware of and compliant with these guidelines.
  • You will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties.

What you will need to succeed as Biddable Media Manager :

  • A degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field is desirable, though not essential.
  • Professional certifications in digital marketing, such as Google Ads and Facebook Blueprint, are highly desirable.
  • Experience of hands-on, in-depth experience in paid search.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing paid social and/or programmatic display campaigns.
  • Proficient in managing budgets and forecasting performance across channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee all aspects of a paid media campaign, including keyword research/audience creation, copywriting, bidding, concept planning, search term analysis, and landing page optimisation.
  • Confident in utilising analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, with a strong understanding of tracking and conversion optimisation
  • Experience in client-facing roles and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring a team, preferably in a digital marketing setting.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments within paid search and digital marketing.
  • A high degree of numeracy and literacy.
  • Strong understanding of tracking, measurement, and data visualisation solutions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • An understanding of GDPR and relevant legislation.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets and forecasting performance for various channels.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure to meet client needs.
