Our client is a successful logistics company based in Dover. They are a global company specialising in fast and efficient logistics solutions across a wide range of industries. They are now looking to acquire the services of a

Site Officer, working 12-hour shifts, 4on/4off, days and nights

  • This is an excellent opportunity with genuine variety and in return for your hard work and dedication, the company can offer significant routes for career progression. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a similar role, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor CCTV footage, site patrols, all entrance & exit barriers and keeping accurate records of all vehicles entering and leaving site.
  • Manage customers/clients as and when required.
  • Ensure vehicles are parking effectively to ensure maximum utilisation of the truck park.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all customers, visitors and staff members.
  • Process customer payments and update the CRM accordingly.
  • Be the first point of contact for al customers/visitors to site in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as and when necessary.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Previous site-officer/security guard experience, desirable.
  • Ability to communicate politely and effectively with a variety of people internally and externally.
  • Good IT skills and confident using any computer equipment.
  • Analytical and logical problem-solving.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
