Hunter Masons client are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a temp to perm basis. The initial contract is set for 12 Months with the option to extend for the right candidate.
The role will be number 1 Mechanical and Electrical site manager on our residential apartment project (278 apartments) in the centre of Birmingham.
Job description
- Coordinate testing and commissioning part with all M&E contractors including electrical, mechanical, ventilation, lift and sprinkler.
- Manage and coordinate testing and commissioning across 2 blocks
- Coordinate and assist technical team to update testing certificates in line with O&M manual portal ( Createmaster).
- Quality checks on all test certificates.
- Chair site level testing and commission meeting with contractors.
- Coordinate clients COW and specialities commissioning engineers with sub-contractors
- Manage client COW inspections and coordinate the matters with contractors and close the reports.
- Manage Cause and effect test schedule
- Assist QS to obtain relevant warranties and paper works.
- Assist utility companies' quires and manage their finals.
- Making sure installations are to drawings
- Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities
