IT Field Engineer
CPS Group UK are delighted to be working with a leading organisation based near the M4 corridor to appoint an IT Field Engineer to support a number of their sites in the South West of England. The sites are across this area, though primarily in the Swindon, Bath, Taunton area (with some further afield).
Mileage will be expensed; however applicants must have their own transport and a full, clean UK driving license.
The IT Field Engineer will provide on-site IT Support and troubleshooting, primarily for IT Infrastructure and Internet Connectivity, so experience with the following technologies is essential:
- Networking / Cisco Meraki switches
- Able to troubleshoot internet connectivity (ADSL and FTTP, FTTC and SOGEA)
- Knowledge on Cabling, CAT5 and CAT 6 and Fibre
- Core IT Infrastructure (e.g. Microsoft applications, Active Directory, Hardware, Server Support, Office365)
- Use-facing IT troubleshooting
The role is initially a 3-month contract, however long-term extensions are likely and expected.
