I am seeking a Full-Time Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in the BS48 area of North Somerset.

This welcoming school is an exciting place for staff and pupils as it is full of encouragement, generosity and support. They believe highly that their children will do their best when they are given the opportunity to discover their own strengths and interests and challenge themselves.

The Role

This role is a full-time position, where the successful candidate will work throughout one classroom, working 1:1 with 2 children throughout the day.

The Head Teacher is looking for someone who can communicate with other staff members and work collaboratively with pupils on a 1 to 1 basis to support their learning needs and adapt activities and environments.

You will be expected to:

  • Work closely with the Class Teachers
  • Have experience working with children or SEN needs.
  • Be flexible, creative and adaptable.
  • Encourage Children to grow and be confident with their own learning.
