Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a number of Picking Operatives to join our client based in Denby, near Ripley, DE5. The prime purpose of the Picking Operatives is to pick profile lengths ready for distribution.
Picking Operatives Hours:
- Static Days 6am - 6pm on a 4 on 4 off rotation
Picking Operatives Pay:
- Days rate: £12.19 per hour plus £18.29 per hour for overtime
The job roles and responsibilities of the Picking Operatives include:
- Participate in the processing of orders; including picking, packing, labelling, and storing of the product.
- Help to maintain organisation, cleanliness, and restock.
- Adhere to loss prevention and inventory control procedures.
- Promote a positive work environment and maintain safety, always.
- Contribute to a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Preferred knowledge of hand scanners
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Key skills required for the role of Picking Operatives:
- Attention to detail
- Previous experience of picking is required
- Working as part of a team
This job operates in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role routinely uses heavy equipment. To perform this job you must be able to continuously lift and/or move 25kgs.
