Responsibilities:
- Successfully deliver the Employment Academy programme
- Recruiting and supporting unemployed tenants into fixed-term employment roles
- Mentoring through the fixed-term contract and supporting people into employment
- Organising and delivering employability sessions
- Providing motivational skills to encourage others to overcome their barriers to employment.
- Supporting those unemployed with support with job hunting, including creating CVs and improving interview skills
- Work closely with local external agencies to identify job opportunities and ensure the needs of the community are met.
Skills and experience required:
- 2 years' minimum experience supporting with employment opportunities
- Motivational skills to encourage overcome their barriers to employment
- Ability to develop working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Strong attention to detail
