Application Support Analyst (German Speaking) - Global Software House - Oracle, SQL, CAD

Applause IT are looking for a German speaking Application Support Analyst to join a multinational software house. There are 2 positions for this role available for somebody based in Glasgow or Reading. The organisation is looking for an experienced application support analyst who is able to develop relationships and help diagnose issues making sure you have the right resources to resolve them.
The ideal Application Support Analyst will have:
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication in German and English is required
- A basic understanding of one or more relational databases, such as Oracle or SQL Server, is required.
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
- Basic knowledge of IIS and other web server platforms
- Experience with FileNet, Documentum, or other document management software is advantageous
- Familiarity with CAD packages like AutoCAD and MicroStation is a plus
- Enthusiasm for teamwork, enjoying customer interactions, and utilizing your excellent communication skills
Key responsibilities will include:
- Respond to customer and partner support requests promptly
- Record support calls in our tracking system and maintain updated call logs
- Investigate, replicate, and propose solutions to customer issues
- Document product defects and change requests in the development tracking system
- Facilitate communication between customers and the Product/Development teams to ensure proper query resolution
- Contribute to the internal knowledge base by documenting common issues
- Assist in testing new product releases
- Support fellow Product Support team members with customer escalations and critical or urgent calls
- Provide training and support to new staff on using our products
