Job Title: Frontend Developer

To be considered for this role, you should be UK based and have full right to work

Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Supercharging our complex digital products, collaborating with a team of pros to deliver high-quality solutions
  2. Crafting scalable functionality using a modular approach for websites and intranet systems
  3. Decoding and writing requirement briefs, specifications, wireframes, and designs
  4. Mentoring and teaming up with fellow developers
  5. Helping shape our frontend solutions and processes

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong HTML and CSS (SASS/Compass is our chosen pre-compiler)
  • Rock-solid JavaScript/ES6
  • Good understanding of React or Angular
  • Git/GitHub - version control
  • Mobile and responsive web design
  • Content Management Systems
  • API's both third party & internal
  • Debugging using tools like Chrome Developer Console

Nice-to-haves (but not deal-breakers):

  • Experience managing large-scale projects (project management or team lead experience)
  • Understanding of SMACSS/BEM
  • Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies
  • Pair programming & code reviews
  • Cross-browser compatibility issues and workarounds
