We are looking for a experience Scrum Master to join one of our Central Government clients for a project in the AWS environnment.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Remove impediments and foster an environment of continuous improvement
- Manage project backlogs and assist in sprint planning and execution
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure backlog refinement and prioritization
- Facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders
- Protect the team from external interruptions and distractions
- Monitor and report on team progress, metrics, and overall project health
- Manage risks and escalate issues when necessary
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in government or public sector projects
- SC Clearance
- Experience working on high-sensitivity projects within government
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience dealing with ministers and high-level government officials
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification
- Excellent knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
- Strong leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
