FMCG National Account Executive Incredible Progression!

Our client, an incredibly well-established supplier of ambient food products, are looking to recruit an energetic, personable candidate to join their office-based Account Management/Executive team. Based in a fantastic Surrey location, with the ability to work one day a week from home, this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate.
Our client have been established for over 40 years, and supply a premium product range to major retailers/foodservice customers across the UK. Their HQ boasts 30 FTE (including an Account Management team of 7) and, as a result of an internal move, they are seeking the right candidate to oversee a number of their accounts, in addition to developing new business across the UK. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining integral B2B client relationships- Identifying new business opportunities with B2B clients (across retail/foodservice)- Proactive management of customer stock levels (working closely with Supply Chain team)- Acting as the main point of contact for key B2B client accounts (primarily over the phone/video)- On occasion, meeting with clients in person to solidify/strengthen relationship(s)
In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:
- Experience of working in a client-facing role (preferably Junior Account Management/Sales/Account Executive)- Experience of working within FMCG
- Articulate, personable telephone manner- Genuine desire to pursue an Account Management/Sales career- Excellent Microsoft Office skillset (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)- Fun, sociable personality
Although not essential, candidates with a full, clean UK driving licence will be preferred (travel required very infrequently when performing stock audits with clients, etc).
In addition to a very competitive basic salary, our client also offer the following:
- Annual bonus of between 20-30% (based on performance, this could be even higher!)- Hybrid working (Friday working from home - after completion of 3-month probationary period)- Progression into a more senior Account Management capacity (overseeing larger accounts, etc)- Exposure to an incredibly well-experienced FMCG Account Management team (with incredible training, tec)
