Redline are seeking an Experienced R&D Test Engineer to join our client, a Lighting Manufacturer based in Ware, Hertfordshire.
This role will be based in their ISO accredited laboratory alongside the laboratory manager and will involve thermal, power and photometric quality testing on lighting equipment, as well as record keeping, ensuring products comply to the required industry standards, process management and report writing to support tendering processes.
Our Ware based client are keen to develop this role into a leadership role in 6-12 months so are looking for someone who is eager to progress.

Requirements of a R&D Test Engineer- Lighting:
- Previous experience in the Lighting industry is essential - external lighting specifically
- Electrical and Electronic HND/HNC/Degree would be advantageous
- Experience in Dialux AGI32 or Lighting Reality would be a bonus but is not essential
- Setting up test rigs and carrying out a variety of tests
- Experience of system and equipment calibration checks
- Experience of ISO standards - ISO17025 in particular would be advantageous
