Blue Arrow Edinburgh are recruiting for a New Product Development Executive for our Manufacturing client based in the west side of Edinburgh. This is a full time permanent role, with hybrid working on offer. The role will see you working with the New Product Development team, working closely with both customers and the sales team to implement new innovations. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, with strong analytical skills and a real problem solver.
Main duties/responsibilities:
- Develop a strong knowledge of the product range, with focus on how products meet the customers needs
- Actively promote the business and their range of products
- Implement and lead projects across a wide range of products
- Work with the sales team and customers to understand the needs and find solutions to these
- Working closely with other area's of the business across mainland Europe
- Act as point of contact for customers in regards to non commercial project management
- working closely with he external sales team to understand new product specifications
- organise and record samples accurately to ensure effective operation of Team activities
- Provide general admin support to the team, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace
Skills/experience:
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work within a team, with flexible approach to helping colleagues
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office
- Accuracy and attention to detail is essential
- Ability prioritise workload and adapt to challenging situations
- Target driven and ambitious
- Travel to other parts of the UK as well as EMEA is also required so must be flexible and open to this
- Previous experience within a project driven or product development role is highly desirable
