Are you skilled in workshop machinery and passionate about supporting the next generation of designers? Veritas Education is looking for a dedicated Design Technology Technician to join one of our partner schools in the Bradford area starting this September.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, maintain, and manage workshop tools and machinery.
  • Assist teachers and students during practical Design Technology lessons.
  • Uphold safety standards by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain inventory levels and manage the procurement of supplies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on projects and classroom activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with machinery and in a workshop environment.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures in a school workshop.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in Design Technology or a related field are a plus.
