Are you skilled in workshop machinery and passionate about supporting the next generation of designers? Veritas Education is looking for a dedicated Design Technology Technician to join one of our partner schools in the Bradford area starting this September.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, maintain, and manage workshop tools and machinery.
- Assist teachers and students during practical Design Technology lessons.
- Uphold safety standards by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain inventory levels and manage the procurement of supplies.
- Provide technical support and guidance on projects and classroom activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with machinery and in a workshop environment.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures in a school workshop.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in Design Technology or a related field are a plus.
