ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching are seeking an LSA for a secondary school in Weston Super Mare. You will be supporting KS3 & KS4 year groups, no qualifications necessary! We only ask that you have a minimum of 6 weeks experience working within an education-based setting. This can be in a voluntary or paid position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location - Weston Super Mare
- Position - LSA
- Start date - September 2024
- Duration / Likely Duration - full-time, part-time, day to day supply, temp to perm opportunities (this decision will be down to the school not Prospero as an agency.)
- Hours - 8:20 am - 4pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience working in a UK school
- Minimum 6 weeks experience
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
- Safeguarding, Prevent and FGM Training - Prospero can provide the links to complete these, Safeguarding will be at the cost of £11, however prevent and FGM will be free.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK (cannot accept sponsorship)
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application - please note Prospero do not cover the cost but will help in providing the link for application, the current cost of an enhanced DBS certificate is £45.40
- Provide all references from the last two years, must have professional email address, if there are any employment gaps, we must be able to evidence this by obtaining independent evidence, or a character reference.
- An overseas police check is required if the candidate has lived outside of the UK for 6month in the last 5 years.
