Finance Executive

Butler Rose is working alongside one of leader in Learning & Development field based in Oxford who have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Executive to join their team. This is a permanent role with hybrid working and will pay salary up to £28,000 for the successful candidate based on experience.

An ambitious and self-starting individual is needed to lead the finance function for a growing company. This role goes beyond standard bookkeeping - Its about shaping and leading all finance processes, working closely with all stakeholders, and producing outstanding reports to inform leadership decisions. The ideal candidate will be adept at basic finance administration while also excelling as a communicator, organiser, and team player.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day financial tasks including invoicing, expense tracking, and cash collection.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist in preparing financial reports as needed.
  • Support the management team with administrative tasks and general office management.
  • Participate in other ad-hoc projects as required, depending on business needs.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience in a finance role.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic accounting software (QuickBooks is used).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Must be within commutable distance to offices just outside Oxford.
  • Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)
