We are seeking a passionate and innovative Art Teacher to join our faculty on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a deep enthusiasm for art and education, a creative approach to lesson planning, and the ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Art: Deliver engaging and dynamic art lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the art curriculum, ensuring it is inclusive, diverse, and stimulating.
  • Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student creativity and self-expression.
  • Assessment: Conduct regular assessments, provide constructive feedback, and track student progress to maintain high standards of achievement and behaviour.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Lead and participate in art-related extracurricular activities, including clubs, exhibitions, and competitions, to enrich students' educational experience.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher: Possess a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • Experienced: Demonstrated experience teaching art at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
  • Creative: A talented artist with a passion for visual arts and innovative teaching methods.
