Practice Supervisor Children In Care Bradford

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for Bradford Metropolitan District Council.

This is a temporary Practice Supervisor Social Worker role within the Children In Care Team.

In this role you will benefit from a competitive hourly rate of up to £42 an hour umbrella, whilst having the opportunity to work in a professional and vibrant environment.

Working within the Children In Care Team includes but is not limited to:

  • Holding a caseload of Looked after Children
  • Undertaking Core Assessments under Section 20 of the Children's Act of 1989
  • Undertaking Child Protection Enquiries under Section 47 of the Children's Act of 1989
  • Undertaking Viability and Kinship Assessments

For this position you will need hold a recognised social work qualification and be SWE registered. Furthermore, you will have at least two years post qualifying experience in statutory child care setting in order to support your ability for this role.
