Estate Finance Assistant for Mells Park Estate
We are looking for a finance assistant to work with the Estate owner and farm manager to assist with all aspects of the estate's finances.
Post: Estate Finance Assistant
Site: Mells Park House, Mells, Frome
Working Arrangement: 20 hours (Ideally over five days but negotiable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Tracking and reconciling bank statements
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable with Xero, Dext & Microsoft
- Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed
- Processing payments
- Provide administrative support as needed
- Assistance with Payroll
- Budget development and analysis
- Cash Flow
Requirements and skills:
- Experience as a Finance Assistant, Finance Officer or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
- Experienced user of accounting software Xero and Dext
- Bookkeeping qualifications
- Own initiative
- Organisational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
- Good people skills
