Randstad are seeking passionate and dedicated Supply Teachers to support primary schools in Watford and the surrounding areas when they require an additional member of staff to cover absence, illness or pre-planned teaching courses. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for educators who want to make a significant impact on students' education while enjoying flexible teaching opportunities. You have full control over which days you work, and which days you keep for your own personal life, meaning you are truly able to find an education role that works for you!
This role is predominantly KS2 based roles, however there is opportunity to teach in EY and KS1 if this is something you are interested in.

Key Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching to KS2 school students
  • Implement lesson plans and adhere to the curriculum provided by the school
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment
  • Collaborate with school staff and follow school protocols

Qualifications:

  • Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience in primary education teaching, in particular, KS2 classrooms
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Flexibility to adapt to different school settings and requirements
