SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Hammersmith and Fulham
Pay Rate: £80-£95 per day
Full time, Long Term - Monday - Friday - 08:30am (arrive at 08:15am) - 3:30pm/4:00pm

Do you have relevant experience or an interest in working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)?
This exciting opportunity for a proactive and energetic individual with behavioural management experience to join the team at an SEND school for children aged between 2 -19 years with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) in Hammersmith and Fulham.
*Must be willing to support with personal care*
Requirements
- A patient and understanding approach
- An interest in working with students with SEND
- Be flexible in your approach
- Be able to provide personal care
- Existing DBS check on the update service
- Existing experience working with children or adults with SEND advantageous, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist and support with the development and learning of students within the school
- Provide 1:1 and general support to students according to requirements for the day
- Work alongside other teaching and support staff to ensure a safe and productive work environment is maintained
- Be responsible for ensuring school policies are upheld including behaviour policies
