Responsibilities:

As a Consolidation and Reporting Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of the consolidated financial performance of the business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating with Legal Entities of the Group, handling queries, and ensuring the submission of accurate financial data.
  • Providing support during the month-end process, including reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy in submissions.
  • Collating and reviewing month-end information and commentary for financial reports.
  • Assisting in the preparation of consolidated reports and commentary for internal stakeholders.
  • Offering dedicated support and insight on specific IFRS topics relevant to financial reporting.
  • Assisting in the development and enforcement of policies, procedures, and governance to ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial objectives.
  • Driving continuous improvement in financial reporting processes, including identifying automation opportunities.
  • Participating in ad hoc projects and continuous improvement activities.
  • Preparation of consolidated reports focused on historical financial information for internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified.
  • Robust knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
  • Experience with consolidated financial statements at the group reporting level.
