Packaging Team Leader
North Birmingham Location
Are you an experienced Team Leader that enjoys working in a manufacturing environment? Pertemps are representing a well-established production plant in their packaging department. Paying an attractive salary of £31,320 the role offers variety and future development.
The successful Team Leader will be supporting the Packaging Manager in the development of the team and to meet the packaging schedule while conforming to all product specifications and maintaining a high level of hygiene and housekeeping.
Reporting to the Shift Manager your duties will include:
" Effectively lead the team to get the best operational performance
" Promote total site team working and evidence of continuous improvement
" Evidence of leading and implementing change and talk passionately about work related issues
" Record production records accurately to ensure complete traceability for auditing purposes
" Report daily/weekly efficiencies accurately and ensure team members utilise all machine running times
" Raise corrective actions to engineers and continuous improvement leader to raise non - conformances
" Make sure quality is adhered to and ensure correct labelling, weight and measures are put in place
" Use SAP ERP system to record all data
" Prepare, conduct and carry out PDR meetings
" Manage and conduct back-to-back interviews on time
" Support with staff development and future opportunities for all
The Team Leader will be working Monday to Friday 06:00am - 14:00pm, 14:00pm - 22:00pm and 22:00pm - 06:00am rotating shifts (The night shift is Sunday to Thursday)
