We are currently recruiting on behalf of our key client based in Dewsbury who are looking for a full-time Administrator.

This role is perfect for someone with a background in administrative work within the voluntary sector or health and social care.

Hours of work are 37.5 - Monday to Friday

Day to Day of the role:

  • Maintain and develop information systems, including logging referrals, closing cases, and generating reports.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take and distribute minutes, and provide IT support to team members.
  • Manage SharePoint sites for local projects, ensuring necessary documentation and information are accessible.
  • Prepare performance monitoring data, statistical reports, and collate feedback and complaints/compliments.
  • Order promotional materials and advise individuals waiting for services on waiting times and alternative support.
  • Carry out general administrative tasks such as printing, sending letters, and managing consent forms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in an administrative role within the voluntary sector or health and social care (desirable).
  • Demonstrated literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in various computer applications including Excel spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
  • Ability to adapt to new systems and solve problems collaboratively.
  • Competence in maintaining accurate records and updating information promptly.
  • Effective use of supervision and peer support.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a complex and varied workload.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding issues and appropriate actions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Flexible and positive approach to work.
  • Ethical and honest work ethic.
  • Personal accountability for performance and decisions.
  • Understanding of GDPR and its application in the workplace.
