Internal Sales Administrator

Reed Business Support are delighted to be supporting a fantastic manufacturing company based in Chesterfield. This would be the perfect role for a experienced sales administrator who might be looking to step-up and progress into a more sales forward role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle efficiently, from enquiry through to invoice payment.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all customer enquiries via email or phone to maximise order conversion.
  • Prepare accurate quotations, follow up proactively, and maintain a pipeline of potential projects and quotes.
  • Liasie with clients to gather build rapport and secure profitable business.
  • Process purchase orders with precision and attention to detail.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, exceeding expectations in communication and delivery performance.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the customer base and expand product/service offerings.

Candidate Profile

  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a diverse environment.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage time and workload effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and enthusiastic approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building effective relationships.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
