My client, in the financial services sector are recruiting for a Qualified Senior Management Accountant. Reporting into the Head of Finance this role will allow you to oversee the day to day operations of a finance function; this would be a great first step into a leadership role. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of annual budgets and half year reforecasts, including cash flows
- Ensure all reporting requirements are met, both statutory and regulatory
- Scenario modelling
- Be the main point of contact for the Group's auditors, insurance brokers, etc
- Supervise and mentor a Finance team of three
- Deputise for the Head of Finance when necessary
- Other ad-hoc projects which may arise
The successful candidate must have the following experience:
- Be fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
- Experience of Financial Services preferred
