SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Needs Support Assistant - SN2

My client is looking for a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within our Specialist Resourced Provision. What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting children with SEN, focusing on speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN)
  • Participating in SEN meetings and after-school clubs
  • Monitoring and delivering Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborating with teachers to organize the learning environment
  • Assisting in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described
  • Empathetic, patient, and able to build rapport with children
  • Skilled in using Signalong or willing to learn
  • Experienced in working with children with SLCN
  • Understand how children learn and how to motivate them
