Purpose: The Paraplanner supports advisors in creating and delivering exceptional advice, managing client reporting, analysis, and post-review actions, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare recommendation and review reports, engaging with advisors and attending client meetings.
  • Assist advisors in developing investment portfolios.
  • Train team members on related activities.
  • Maintain and improve investment management tools and processes.
  • Support planners in applying these processes for clients.
  • Act as a contact for administrative queries on portfolio changes.
  • Ensure accurate client information in the CRM system (Curo).
  • Contribute to process improvements and strategic goals.

Required Skills:

  • Analyze and interpret data, solve problems, and present conclusions.
  • Anticipate client needs and support the planning team.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with planners, advisors, and clients.
  • Trustworthy, confidential, and tactful.
  • High IT competency, including financial analysis tools.
  • Self-motivated with strong personal goal management.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years working with high-net-worth UK private clients.
  • Deep understanding of financial planning processes for various client profiles.
