Night Care Worker - Part-Time

As a Night Care Worker at the new CrossReach Residential Abstinence Recovery Service, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their recovery journeys during the night, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

As a Night Care Worker, you'll need to be attentive to the needs of the individuals in our care, build strong, supportive relationships, and provide compassionate assistance throughout the night.

CrossReach are looking for a Night Care Worker to join our team and provide exceptional overnight support. If you value teamwork and are committed to our Christian values, this role could be for you.

As a Night Care Worker, you will offer wakeful night cover and handle essential domestic duties. You'll be a key worker for service users, managing care plans, assisting with personal care, and liaising with health professionals. Your role includes maintaining a high standard of the physical environment, monitoring nutritional needs, and handling emergencies.

You should have or be willing to obtain an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care, and basic computer skills are required. Respect for Christian worship and facilitating service users' participation in worship are essential.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
