Reed Business Support are recruiting for an Office Administrator on behalf of our client based in Stockton-on-Tees. This role is situated within a busy admin function and requires a candidate who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring precise data entry and a methodical, systematic approach to tasks.

Day to day of the role:

  • Manage invoice and purchasing registers with high accuracy.
  • Assist with the preparation of estimates and tender paperwork.
  • Perform reception duties, including handling incoming calls and meeting & greeting visitors.
  • Carry out general administrative duties such as photocopying, filing, and importing data onto the system.
  • Schedule meetings and book meeting rooms as required.
  • Organise travel and accommodation arrangements for staff.
  • Prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines and support the team's needs.
  • There are opportunities for progression into a purchasing or buying role, allowing the right candidate to make the role their own.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and experience with Sage.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail for precise data entry.
  • Good communication skills for reception duties and team collaboration.
  • A proactive approach to work and the ability to work independently.
